Okay I'll bite, how do you shop for tires?

The days of buying 4 new tires for $500 are gone unfortunately. After talking to a couple tire pro buddies it seems the best way is to shop online first. Find the best price you can at a legitimate tire website (I use tirerack.com). Once you find the price you're willing to pay, print out a screenshot showing the total. Take this printout to a local tire retailer that has a price-match guarantee. Here in Arizona you would most likely visit Discount Tire but there are others. Buying locally this way will save you the most money.

Another alternative is to find a set of used tires on Marketplace, offerUp, etc. (inspect well!). Once you have your "new" tires in hand you can call a mobile tire business who will come to your home and do the balance and install. There is no warranty when you go this route but I have had success.

Who was the best boss you ever had?

This mad me laugh because I'm pretty sure the question came from a previous boss. The answer is I've had a few really talented bosses over the years that I've admired greatly. Even the ones I didn't admire as much taught me a great deal.

The best bosses I've had make certain their team understands the level (quality) of work expected, and lets that team know they are more than capable of achieving it. They are encouraging, helpful, and insightful. They aren't soft and never accept less than the quality of work they want. I feel it is bad advice to tell a new boss to just be themselves. If a person is too accommodating (nice) they can be taken advantage of. If they are overly aggressive, they'll have to overpay their staff just to keep them around. A good boss knows themselves and knows what characteristics come naturally and what characteristics they will have to consciously adopt.
